Snow and Chocolate

My Place of Employment, like a lovely swiss chalet in the snow. There was nothing but sideways rain in the city, but when the elevator delivered me 260 feet up from the tunnel, there was a winter wonderland outside the doors.

Last weekend was also our annual Chocolate Fest where we fill our halls with chocolate vendors and delicious chocolate samples, chocolate fountains, and happily, THE WORLD'S LARGEST TRUFFLE. (click to enlarge.)

I met Steve Gazda from L'Atelier chocolates who was the man responsible for breaking the world record by 23 pounds. The truffle weighed 243

pounds, and took a week to create. Later it took 5 hours to consume. I had a portion of it, and it was delicious!!! Congratulations, Steve!
