Republicans Are Unpatriotic

Let's abolish the two-party system! By now we can all agree that some Republicans are very bad people. A lot of them should be thrown in jail! Their ridiculous idea of "values" is at best exclusive and negligent and at worst cruel and criminal. After 8 long years of the worst presidency in our history, after countless lives and trillions of dollars are wasted, after creating a nose-diving economy riddled with debt, a heating world facing mass-extinction, and an ignorant, obese nation that is the laughing-stock of the world, we apparently might elect two more Republicans to the White House.
Here is an excerpt describing Sarah Palin's right-wing Christian agenda as mayor of Wasilla, Alaska:

Palin's personal connection to IACC, (International Association of Character Cities) and her efforts to bring its agenda to Wasilla as mayor, sheds new light on her connections to the Christian far right, as well as her willingness to infuse government with its ideals rooted in religion. Her championing of IACC principles raises further questions about Palin's views on running government, including the hiring and firing of government employees, an area in which she has come under intense scrutiny in part due to her involvement in "trooper gate."

By becoming a City of Character, Wasilla under Palin committed to adhering to 49 "character qualities" as outlined by the IACC, which are secularized versions of IBLP's 49 "character qualities" derived from the Bible. Critics have charged that the organization and its affiliated Character Training Institute are for all intents and purposes a front group for the evangelical IBLP.

IBLP was founded in 1974 by evangelist Bill Gothard "for the purpose of introducing people to the Lord Jesus Christ," and is "dedicated to giving individuals, families, churches, schools, communities, governments, and businesses clear instruction and training on how to find success by following God's principles found in Scripture." IBLP claims to have taught over 2.5 million people its Basic Life Principles seminar, and boasts assets exceeding $100 million, an affiliated correspondence college course program and an unaccredited law school." --Excerpt taken from the website "Thanks But No Thanks" and written by Sarah Posner

This quote comes from her "town hall" meeting the other night with John McCain:

...When asked how she would help keep any new domestic oil produced in the United States, Palin gave a less-than-well-articulated non-answer to a question posed by the audience:

"Oil and coal? Of course, it's a fungible commodity and they don't flag, you know the molecules, where it's going and where it's not. But in the sense of the Congress today, they know that there are very, very hungry domestic markets that need that oil first," Palin said. "So I believe that what Congress is going to do also is not to allow the export bans to such a degree that it's Americans that get stuck to holding the bag without the energy source that is produced here, pumped here. It's got to flow into our domestic markets first." --does this remind you of George Bush?!

And finally, here is a little video of some of Palin's disgusting habits:

John McCain and Sarah Palin are typically ignorant and arrogant Republicans. Their twisted idea of "family values" is dark and deadly. Their administration would lead to the final destruction of all of the already threatened resources we still have available to us. Wildlife will become extinct. The atmosphere will heat further and faster. The far-right will support their own special interests. We will wage more war. We will become further indebted to China. We will suffer more terror attacks.
There is a long laundry list of recently-embarrassed Republicans who seem to exemplify the corrupt and criminally-negligent behavior of the party: Tom Delay, conspiracy. Bill Frist, inside trading. Karl Rove,CIA leak. "Scooter" Libby, obstuction of justice (and pardoned by Bush). Jack Abramoff, fraud and conspiracy. Larry Craig, gay bathroom sex. (Which I only have a problem with if you're a gay-hater). Mark Siljander, conspiracy and funding terrorists.

I DON'T GET IT. How can this country have bred enough haters to vote for these people? I guess by having five children each who in turn get pregnant at 17, teaching them that guns are FUN and that God costs a lot of money.
